This project was finalist in a national architecture competition for choosing a sustainable social housing project that could be adaptable to the different climate zones of Brazil.
The design followed the idea of flexibility. A matrix of information about the 8 different climate zones were created to find the intersection of passive design solutions that could provide comfort to the residents in the most part of the year.
The design offers a set of shading devices- fixed and flexible. In the site, they will vary in height to provide a good wind flow for most of the rooms.
